Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham are set to reissue their 1973 album, Buckingham Nicks, on September 19, after decades of the project being out of print. The album was recorded at Sound City in Los Angeles by producer Keith Olsen, and marks the only album the two rock legends released as a duo. It also set the stage for Nicks and Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac the following year, after Mick Fleetwood famously heard “Frozen Love” played through the Sound City monitors. The long-awaited reissue is sourced from the original analog tapes, and is available in multiple vinyl variants, including a limited-edition set featuring replica 7-inch singles, as well as both digital and CD formats. The release was promoted with a series of coordinated Instagram lyric posts by Nicks and Buckingham, along with mysterious Billboards appearing in Los Angeles, and it has sparked fans’ hopes that the two long-feuding ex-lovers and former bandmates will reconcile and possibly tour the album together at some point in the future.
