This past Friday night was an emotional farewell to Linkin Park front man Chester Bennington, who, as we all know, died this past July. His band mates in Linkin Park, led by his best friend and co-collaborator, Mike Shinoda, were all on stage at the Hollywood Bowl this past Friday. Multiple Rock acts made their way on stage to pay tribute, and perform songs. Avenged Sevenfold, Alanis Morrissette, Sum 41, Blnk 182, and No Doubt were just some of the massive names in Rock who paid tribute to Chester on stage Friday at the Hollywood Bowl.
However, the most emotional part of the night was when Mike Shinoda performed a piano driven ballad that he recently wrote for Chester, titled, “Looking For An Answer.” In case you didn’t see the performance, here it is. Apparently, Mike and Linkin Park are going to carry on, and potentially add another person to the lineup to continue their legacy. We wish them the best!
